Sixth Lesson

Hello everyone!

If you had already read the previous post, you would have understood that our final exam was held today.

First of all, I was actually quite nervous as I hadn’t really studied anything but the day before, because I thought that the majority of the test would probably only be questions that involved general knowledge, but lets take that a bit later.

So, when I sat on the bus on the way to the diving center, I was just revising some notes, whilst everyone else seemed to do the exact same thing. Everyone stopped to study after only around 1 minutes, as our coach started to give us some trial questions so that everyone could get an understanding of what types of questions that could be included. I actually felt a bit better after that, as I almost understood every question that he asked, but lets talk about what actually happened AFTER the buss tour.

First of all when we stepped out of the buss we were almost searching for an empty classroom, as all of them were occupied with other classes. We didn’t manage to find an empty classroom, which ended up with the whole class doing the exam next to the pool. This almost even felt a weird because usually when you have an exam, everything is pre-planned, but apparently not this time.

The most irritating thing by being in the pool-room was that the air was very dense and the temperature was really warm.

However, when the test now started, I actually got a really good start because the first set of questions were mainly more of general knowledge. But it did get harder when we came later into the test when diagrams, calculations and pressure groups started to appear, but I managed to get through it with a really good result.

I am not really allowed to go much deeper into the test, because it is of course a test but I can proudly say that I got 44/50, which is more than enough to be able to pass the whole thing.

At the end of the class, we got informed that there wouldn’t be any other class next week, as everyone passed the exam. However, the week after but on a weekend this time, we will have one of our assessment dives at Jumeirah Beach.
